When a system demands that faith must be verified by works before assurance can exist, yet claims works are only produced by faith, it forces the believer onto an exhausting theological carousel. It assumes what it sets out to prove, confusing the root with the fruit and trading the rock-solid promise of Christ for self-centered introspection.
